The Little Lasherie

Lashes  ·  Brows  ·  Nails Coming Soon

✦ Your Post-Appointment Guide ✦

A little consistency goes a long way. These simple habits will keep your lashes healthy, your extensions lasting, and your investment looking its best.

01
Be Gentle

Your extensions are delicate — not fragile, but worth treating with care. Avoid rubbing, pulling, or sleeping face-down on your lashes. The less friction, the longer your set will last and the healthier your natural lashes will remain underneath.

When cleansing, use soft, downward strokes. Patting dry is always better than rubbing.

02
Sleep Mindfully

How you sleep matters more than most people realise. Side sleeping and stomach sleeping are the most common causes of premature lash loss — not your lifestyle, not your skin type.

A lash-safe pillow or sleep mask can make a significant difference in how your extensions hold between fills. We carry options in the Lash Love Shop specifically chosen to protect your investment while you rest.

Your Maintenance Routine

Consistency is everything. A simple two-tier routine — daily and weekly — is all it takes to keep your extensions looking fresh and your natural lashes thriving.

Tier 1 — The Base
Your Minimum

The non-negotiables. These two steps form the foundation of every healthy lash routine and should be part of your everyday.

  • Gentle Exfoliating Wipes — remove buildup, debris, and residue from the lash line without disturbing your extensions.
  • Lash Line Moisturiser & Peptides — hydrate and strengthen the follicle at the base, supporting natural lash health underneath.
Tier 2 — The Upgrade
As Often as Possible

Tier 2 is not reserved for a specific day — it should be done as frequently as your schedule allows, and always after activities that stress the lash line.

  • Foaming Lash Cleanser — a deeper cleanse that removes oils, makeup residue, and environmental buildup thoroughly.
  • Lash Line Serum — a targeted treatment that nourishes the lash follicle and reinforces retention between fills.
✦ The Extracurriculars
Cil D'or Reset Mist
Think of it as a dry shampoo for your lashes — a quick refresh that revives your set between cleanses, adds light hold, and keeps things looking fresh on the go.
Lash Sealant
Applied over traditional lash adhesive, this mousse-like sealant locks in the bond, extends wear, and adds a layer of protection between appointments.

Nourish from the Inside Out

Healthy lashes, vibrant skin, and clear eyes all share the same foundation. These six nutrients work together to support your lashes, your brows, your skin, and your eye health simultaneously.

Biotin (B7)
The most well-known lash and nail nutrient — supports hair follicle strength and reduces breakage. Also supports the health of mucous membranes in and around the eyes.
Hair · Eyes
Vitamin A
Essential for maintaining a moist eye surface and supporting night vision. Also regulates cell turnover in the scalp and follicles to keep lashes growing strong.
Hair · Eyes · Skin
Vitamin C
A vital building block for collagen — the protein that gives hair its structure and prevents breakage. Also protects the delicate blood vessels that supply the eyes and skin.
Hair · Eyes · Skin
Vitamin E
An antioxidant that protects eye cell membranes from oxidative damage, reduces scalp stress to support hair growth, and keeps skin moisturised and resilient.
Hair · Eyes · Skin
Omega-3 Fatty Acids
A structural component of the retina and a natural remedy for dry eye — Omega-3s also nourish the scalp, add shine to lashes, and maintain the skin barrier to prevent moisture loss.
Hair · Eyes · Skin
Zinc
Works quietly behind the scenes — helping transport Vitamin A to the retina, supporting visual enzymes in the eye, regulating scalp oil production, and aiding tissue repair after any skin or follicle stress.

A lash lift or brow lamination is a chemical service — and like any chemical treatment, the health of the hair after the service depends entirely on how well you care for it. Moisture is your most important tool. Neglecting hydration after lamination leads to brittleness, breakage, and frizz. These habits keep your results looking intentional, not overdone.

01
Moisturise Daily — Without Exception

After a lash lift or brow lamination, daily moisture is non-negotiable. A nourishing serum or conditioning treatment applied each morning and evening keeps the hair shaft hydrated, prevents brittleness, and extends the results significantly.

This is not optional. It is the single most impactful thing you can do to protect your results.

Lash Lift Aftercare Serum
Specifically formulated for lifted lashes — applies like a clear mascara and conditions the hair shaft with each use.
Brow Lamination Nourishing Oil
A lightweight oil treatment that feeds each brow hair at the follicle level, restoring moisture lost during the lamination process.
02
Avoid Moisture for the First 24 Hours

The processing solution used in lash lifts and brow lamination needs time to fully set. During the first 24 hours, keep your lashes and brows completely dry — no steam, no water, no washing, no sweating.

After this window, moisture becomes your best friend. Before it closes, it is your only restriction.

No steam or saunasHeat and humidity disrupt the bond before it fully sets.
No water on lashes/browsEven splashing your face can affect results.
No intense exerciseSweat counts as moisture during the setting window.
No eye makeupApplying products too soon introduces unnecessary moisture and friction.
03
Be Gentle When Cleansing

After the 24-hour window, cleanse with care. Use only gentle, downward strokes — never rub or tug at the lashes or brows. Rough handling can cause breakage and disrupt the laminated shape before it has fully settled.

A gentle, oil-free cleanser is ideal. Avoid cleansing balms or heavy makeup removers directly on the lash and brow line.

04
Brush Daily to Maintain Shape

Use a clean spoolie each morning to gently brush your lashes upward and your brows into shape. This keeps the lift looking fresh, trains the hairs to hold their position, and distributes any applied serum or oil evenly through the hair shaft.

One minute each morning makes a visible difference in how long your results last.
